How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf is the first book in the "Naked Werewolf" series by Molly Harper. Harper is also the author of the "Nice Girls" series and several other romantic paranormal comedies.
Dreamworld's Synopsis
Mo Wenstein has recently moved from her hometown in Mississippi to Grundy, Alaska, for a fresh, new start after a failed engagement. Although Mo is feeling a bit skeptical about her decision at first, she is intent on turning her small log cabin into a home, and making friends with the local residents.
Shortly after her arrival to the town of Grundy, Mo butts heads with an irresistible dark and broody man named Cooper Graham, whom ironically, she can't help but feel attracted to. Mo soon learns that Cooper is an alpha-werewolf naturally attracted to her as well, and must work extra hard to keep his feelings in check and his true identity a secret.
As if the sparks flying between Mo and Graham aren't already enough to cause a stir, many Grundy residents and visitors are becoming the victims of violent wolf attacks. Now it's up to Mo to decide whether or not she can legitimately trust Graham and his possibly dangerous, supernatural alter-ego.
Dreamworld's Review
How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf launches the start of a fun new paranormal romance series you'll easily be able to get into, thanks to Harper's ability to create a beautiful and descriptive setting for the town of Grundy. The detail put into the setting and tone of the novel gives it a very literary appeal, which will definitely please readers who are on the fence with enjoying paranormal romance, and the romance genre in general.
After settling protagonist Mo comfortably into the town of Grundy, Harper begins to divulge full and descriptive backgrounds of likable major characters who will most likely return to the stories in upcoming sequels.
From a romantic standpoint, the tension between Mo and Graham is gradually built up through most of the novel, until it releases in an intense, erotic spurt that will leave readers feeling exhilarated (and nearly breathless). The suspense that consumes the last half of How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf is well worth the wait.
The 2nd book in the Naked Werewolf series is called The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf, which features Cooper's spunky younger werewolf sister, Maggie Graham.

ReplyDeleteThanks Buttercup! Yes, vampire novels are fun too, so I just might check out the Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs series. This was the first I've ever read by Harper, and I really enjoyed it! I hope you do as well.
ReplyDeleteAlaska is an interesting setting for werewolves. This book does sound sexy after reading about it. Might have to buy it or borrow it from the library.
