Remember Me

Christopher Pike has written more than 100 books! His first novel, Slumber Party, was published in 1985, and he’s been cranking out lots of fun and terrifying novels ever since.

Remember Me is about a young woman named Shari Cooper who wakes up the morning after a party and finds out she’s dead. Shari, along with her friends and family, think she committed suicide by jumping out of a building. She ends up strolling around town like Bruce Willis in The Sixth Sense and watches her family mourn her death.

As the hours go by, Shari realizes she was murdered. She teams up with her old friend Peter Nichols in the afterlife to figure out who murdered her.

Remember Me is the first Christopher Pike novel I ever read. I bought it as a new release when I was 9 years old. This was a new genre for me after reading children’s storybooks up to that point.

Remember Me is extremely touching. It’s melodramatic and sad. Also timeless.

Aaah, Christopher Pike! I remember reading his work when I was much younger and enjoying the light suspense and thrill of it all. However, I no longer have any of his books as I gave away all of them on Bookcrossing to some people in Canada and they loved them.

One of my dear favourites was 'Witch' and 'The Trilogy' – 'The Party', 'The Dance' and 'The Graduation'… all three of those books were great books and I read them a few times before sending them and 'Witch' to Canada.

I know! I regret getting rid of all my Christopher Pike books years ago. I'm glad I kept my original Vampire Diaries and Secret Circle books by L.J. Smith, though. I had no idea they would become so popular over 20 years later!!
