Thrilled to Death

Thrilled to Death is the 3rd book in the Detective Wade Jackson mystery series by L.J. Sellers.

This story begins in a psychiatrist’s office, where a young woman named Danette Blake is discussing putting her baby boy up for adoption. When Danette suddenly goes missing, her mother-in-law Kera hires Detective Wade Jackson to investigate her disappearance.

Thrilled to Death is the best one in this series so far, which I’m sure is going to get better with each new book that comes out. It’s fast-paced and flows with ease—I just wish it was longer!

There are lots of red herrings in this book, which makes it even more exciting. It’ll keep you on your toes, that’s for sure.

Another thing I appreciated about this book is that I felt closer to Detective Jackson. He seemed much more personable and relatable in Thrilled to Death than he did in Secrets to Die For, which was book #2.

There are 19 books in the Detective Wade Jackson series now. Wow! This author also writes the Agent Dallas thriller series.

The next books after Thrilled to Death are:

I like J.D Robb and her Eve Dallas series of mysteries set in the future. The author makes it futuristic enough to be intriguing, but not so wild that it seems like sci fi.

I honestly don't think I've ever read a straight mystery novel. I saw on goodreads it had high ratings. Wouldn't mind giving it a try. Thanks for the giveaway
