The Falcon Prince is the 2nd book in the Princes of Symtaria series by Karen Kelley.
Rianna Lancaster is a dog groomer who lives in a small town in Texas. She’s always had a special connection with animals, and lately, she’s been hearing a mysterious voice in her head challenging her to be more adventurous and daring.
When handsome and sexy Prince Kristor materializes out of nowhere to rescue Rianna from her boring life, she learns she has LOTS more in common with him than she initially expects. The two embark on some crazy experiences together as Rianna learns more about her background and magical powers.

The Falcon Prince is relatively fun and light. It’s humorous and cute, but its plot is a bit lacking. There’s a lot of buildup, and then not much goes on. Also, many of the sex scenes in this book are repetitive, as they all read nearly the same and aren’t unique from one another.
Overall, it wasn’t too exciting as far as paranormal romance goes. You could get away with skipping it and just try a completely different series.
The next book in the Princes of Symtaria series is called The Wolf Prince (2010). Other books by Karen Kelley:
- My Favorite Phantom (2009)
- How To Seduce A Texan (2009)
- Bless Your Heart (2019)
