Hell Yeah

Hell Yeah is book #2 in the Honky Tonk Bar series by Carolyn Brown. But this fun, sassy, fast-paced romance novel can be read as a standalone if you haven’t read I Love This Bar, which is book #1.

In Hell Yeah, the new owner of Honky Tonk bar is Cathy O’Dell. When the rugged, handsome, smart and sexy oil-rigger Travis Henry comes to town for business, Cathy considers whether she should stay in small-town Mingus to run the Honky Tonk bar or leave to be with Travis. In the midst of all their love-drama, Cathy experiences trauma and hopes Travis can come to her rescue.

Hell Yeah is a cute story—it’s incredibly fun and uplifting! This contemporary romance will help you escape into dreamy and blissful fantasies, if that’s what you’re going for. The author incorporates country music references and anecdotes into the bar’s setting, along with lots of funny country euphemisms from her characters.

This book had me craving draft beer and a pair of cowboy boots. You’ll have fun with this one!

I’ve also reviewed My Give a Damn’s Busted and Honky Tonk Christmas by Carolyn Brown.
