My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One-Night Stands by Chelsea Handler

Horizontal Life Handler

My Horizontal Life is the first memoir by Chelsea Handler.

In this book, Chelsea discusses her sex life and sexual escapades over the years, in a series of quirky and jaw-dropping short stories. She talks about her obsession with the black man’s penis, and about numerous one-night stands, hence the title. She also talks about having skid-mark accidents in her panties. There’s no denying this one belongs to a class of its own.

My Horizontal Life reminds me a lot of some memoirs written by Jenny McCarthy. I liked this one, mainly because Chelsea puts it all out there, not caring what anyone says.

This book is ideal for women who enjoy gross raunchy stuff. Probably not your mom. It’s fun to read reviews about this book on Amazon, specifically from people who didn’t like it very much. But, despite what everyone else says, I loved it and found it brutally honest and hilarious.

I haven't read her latest two books, but will be seeing her on the Lies tour this May for the first time EVER…so excited!
